報告題目：The role and study of lakes at national, regional and global scales

報告內容：Lakes are critical for human survival but are also extremely sensitive to pressures from human exploitation, of them and the environment in general. In order to manage them effectively and sustainably, their sensitivity to bottom-up and top-down pressures and consequent internal interactions need to be understood. This talk will very briefly outline the approaches and work undertaken by the Lake Ecosystem Group at CEH Lancaster that studies impacts and responses of lakes at local, regional and global scales.
