7月1日上午，江蘇大學Susan Rutherford研究員和Justin Wan研究員應武漢植物園宏觀生態學學科組邀請做客第三十二期東湖論壇，園部分學科組長、青年科研人員和在讀研究生等共40余人參加本次論壇。
Justin Wan研究員以《Does generalism come with costs in aggressiveness? A synthesis of the global data on potato and tomato blight》為題，介紹了番茄和馬鈴薯致病疫霉的宿主偏好性及其隨時間的變化。Susan Rutherford研究員以《Using landscape genomics to explore evolutionary processes and species boundaries in closely related euclypts》為題，介紹了景觀基因組學在桉樹進化過程和物種形成機制研究中的應用。報告結束后，Susan Rutherford和Justin Wan研究員與師生就相關領域內的學術問題進行了熱烈討論。現場氣氛活躍，報告受到廣大師生的一致好評。
