報告題目：The ins and outs of functional fruit genomics
Dr Jia-Long Yao is a Principal Scientist at The New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Limited (Plant and Food Research). His research has been focused on developing efficient genetic transformation systems for fruit trees and analyzing gene function using these transformation systems together with modern genomics tools. His team have identified genes controlling apple fruit size, shape, seedlessness, and texture. He leads the research programme “Overcoming Pollination Barriers” carried by a multidisciplinary team at Plant and Food Research to understand genetic mechanisms controlling parthenocarpy and self-pollination and develop efficient pollination technologies.

報告題目：G蛋白的探索之旅：走向綠色高產
歐陽亦聃，華中農業大學教授，博士生導師。國家高層次人才特殊支持計劃“青年拔尖人才”，教育部“長江學者獎勵計劃”青年學者，農業農村部“農業科研杰出人才”，教育部課程思政教學名師。長期圍繞雜交稻復雜性狀的調控機制展開研究，先后獲國家自然科學基金重大項目課題等支持，相關研究工作以通訊作者在Science、Nat Commun、PNAS、Mol Plant（4篇）等發表論文24篇，并受邀在Annu Rev Plant Biol、Curr Opin Plant Biol等發表綜述論文。研究成果多次入選封面故事、被F1000數據庫推薦，入選ESI高被引論文，多次被新華社、人民日報、光明日報、新聞聯播和央視新聞等主流媒體報道。參編國際專著/譯著2部、參編《作物功能基因組學》、《植物學》、《現代遺傳學》等教材。授權/申請專利11項、軟件著作權3項。獲湖北省高等學校教學成果特等獎。
