報告人簡介：Goulding博士1990年在Sheffield大學化學系獲得生物化學學位，博士期間主要研究蛋白和多酚類化合物的相互作用；具有6年的糖生物學和蛋白質組學的研究經驗，曾任職牛津OGS公司，負責糖生物學相關試劑盒，試劑和設備的研發；在英國UVItec公司工作11年，負責凝膠成像系統的全球運營，先后任銷售經理，銷售和市場總監，和運營總監。1999年首次訪問中國。自2007年至今，擔任Nonlinear Dynamics （屬Waters公司）亞太區、非洲和澳大利亞的產品經理。
Paul Goulding received a B.Sc. Hons. In Biochemistry and Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield, UK. He then worked for Oxford GlycoSciences (Abingdon, UK) for 7 years as an R and D scientist, developing reagents, kits and equipment for the study of glycoproteins. Paul then moved into his first worldwide technical sales role at UVItec of Cambridge, UK, selling CCD based imaging systems and analysis software. Paul joined Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd (NLD, Newcastle, UK) in 2007 as Distributor Manager covering Asia and Asia-Pacific regions and selling software for Omics analysis. Since the Waters acquisition of NLD in 2013, he has held the post of Business Development Manager, Asia, Africa and Australasia providing technical sales and marketing support for the Progenesis range of discovery Omics analysis solutions to local Waters organisations.
