Steve Compton教授簡介：
Steve Compton教授先后在南非羅德斯大學（Rhodes University）和英國利茲大學（University of Leeds）任教，主要研究植物與昆蟲互作關系、雜草生物防治、熱帶雨林演替和生物多樣性保護，已在權威生態學和植物學雜志Proc Natl Acad Sci USA, Ecol Lett, Ecology, Mol Ecol, P R SOC B, J Ecol, J Appl Ecol, J Anim Ecol, J Biogeogr,Conserv Biol, Biol Conserv Heredity 等發表學術論文140余篇。
