Dr. Song，美國 Boston University獲得博士學位，主要利用遙感、GIS及模型來研究生態系統的結構、功能和動態，曾主持NASA、美國國家自然科學基金、美國國家林業局等多項交叉科研項目，現任UNC地理系副教授，曾先后在Journal of Geophysical Research, Remote Sensing of Environment, Landscape Ecology, Ecology Modeling 等國際重要刊物發表多篇經典文章，其中一篇被引用次數達521次。
